Hello, I’m Cyrille Kurz, forever happiest with a camera in my hands and a wild animal in front of my lens.
I took a photography course when I was younger, but the moment that truly changed everything for me happened in 2014, deep in the rainforests of Costa Rica. That trip sparked a real love for wildlife photography — the kind that grabs you and never lets go. Since then, I’ve spent my free time chasing those moments that animals offer when you’re patient enough to watch. A curious glance. A sudden burst of movement. Or a feast for the eyes with large groups of animals across a savannah.
This website is a highlights reel of some of the things I have seen and photographed wandering through national parks, exploring wildlife reserves, trying to maintain a steady grip on boat tours, visiting zoos and wildlife parks and sometimes just looking out from where I live.
This website isn’t about selling anything — it’s simply a place to share a snap shot of the beauty I’ve seen, with friends, family, and anyone else who enjoys getting a little closer to the natural world. I hope these images bring you the same sense of wonder and joy that I felt while taking them.
Tigers are my favourite animal; what's yours?
Thanks for visiting.
